Kevin's Fly Screens...
|
 |
Most of us would agree that one of the
main irritations of life in Spain is the common fly,
especially in the summer. You know the routine, you sit
down to relax with a nice glass of something cold and
all of a sudden you have unwanted company and start a
strange dance that involves a lot of arm waving!
This nuisance was a certain something that ex-pat
'veterans' Kevin and his wife Barbara
spotted some years ago. Having lived in Spain for 15
years, Kevin and Barbara have turned their very handy
DIY skills into money and have made a real go of their
business.
Kevin and Barbara set up the business
designing and producing made-to-measure fly screens some
seven years ago and have not looked back since. With a
good level of Spanish between them, Kevin and
Barbara have always used local suppliers and as the
business has expanded they have employed both Spanish
and British Workers.
The business has also branched out
into other areas and now offers customers replacement
double glazed window and door units too. Kevin explains
that the attraction for customers here is that this work
does not involve any building mess and redecoration is
not required after fitting.
You may be interested to know that
Kevin and Barbara are also keen supporters of Noah's ARC
and other animal rescue charities and have pledged to
recycle any old units and doors for scrap value. Money
raised will go to Noah's ARC Charity.
Business opportunities!!!
As part of the business expansion in
the future Kevin is also looking to franchise his
work to other areas, click here
