Background

After moving to Spain Kevin and Barbara found that fly's in the warm climate of Spain can be a 'turn off', and also a real nuisance.

Using his DIY skills he decided to do something to improve their quality of life so he searched around for suitable materials and having located them he was able to make up a basic flyscreen to fit over his open windows.
It proved totally effective and so he and his wife took a sample screen to a local car-boot sale where the interest and response was very enthusiastic providing a number of enquiries; Kevin visited their homes and took measurements from which he tailor-made screens to fit their windows.

Over the following seven years Kevin has equipped a state-of-the-art workshop with hydraulic hi-tech machinery where high quality screens are manufactured in remarkably quick time. Since the early days Kevin has researched and located better qualities of metal finishes and other materials and now has a heathly business although still employing himself and his wife. Apart from some local advertising in free distribution papers with very low rates and a small portable exhibition stand which they take to various local events, the vast majority of current business now comes from recommendations from very satisfied clients

The Franchise Idea
 

Kevin decided to try to put together a franchise package comprising exactly the same hydraulic precision cutting and forming machinery with roll-on / roll-off tables and compressors etc to be found in his own workshop, together with all the necessary power and hand tools, workbench and sample exhibition screens and sufficient materials to manufacture 100 average-sized screens. All this plus the vital part of the deal

Personal hands-on training on the Franchisee's premises covering every aspect of the business.

As part of the package he will spend four days on-site covering sales, measuring and manufacturing, installation likely problems with their solutions; in essence an instant business off to a flying start. The contract will include full service support and technical back-up, exclusive territory and a guarantee to supply raw materials at the very lowest market prices, all for a period of five years in continuity.
